God shiva requested lord vishnu for help .
In one side great battle was running between demon and lord shiva and in other side side at a time lord vishnu took duplicate form of jalandhar and went to jalandhar wife ;
vrunda' home.Finally god vishnu cheased chasity of Jalandhar wife women 'Vrunda' in duplicate form of Jalandhar.
After cheasing Vrunda Pratibrata dharma power lord Shiva killed jalandhar in battle.
Vrunda became very angry with lord vishnu and gave Curse to be stone,grass and tree.
Lord vishnu went earth to be stone(salagram),holy grass( kush) and tree as holy tree Peepal.
From that time kush,salagram,peepal is worshipped in every home as lord vishnu.
